Hi, I’m Lou!
I started Lopez Watts Interiors because I genuinely believe that every home deserves to feel like you — not a showroom, not a catalog page, but a real reflection of how you actually live. Here’s the thing: getting there doesn’t have to mean months of construction dust and contractor schedules. As a pure decorator, I work entirely within your existing space — transforming rooms through furniture, custom upholstery, rugs, lighting, accessories, and bespoke window drapery. No renovation. No disruption. Just a home you’ll fall in love with all over again.
My education and professional expertise is derived from a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Dallas Baptist University, years of hands-on design experience, and a deep commitment to treating every client’s home and budget with respect. My business background shapes everything about how I work. You’ll always know where your project stands, what decisions are forthcoming, and exactly what things cost. No surprises. No vague timelines. Just clear communication and transparency from our first conversation to the final reveal.
My favorite thing to do? Take the pieces you already love — that antique chest your grandmother left you, the art you’ve been holding onto for the right room — and build something around them that feels completely fresh. I mix custom and contemporary furnishings with those meaningful one-of-a-kind pieces in a way that makes a space feel curated rather than collected. And because I live this life too — with my husband Stephen, our kids Calvin and Ellie, and our dog — I design for real life. Beautiful spaces that hold up to movie nights, muddy paws, and everything in between. I call it bulletproof luxury, and my clients tell me it’s exactly what they are looking for.
